Bridget K. Cherry

Advisor

Bridget K. Cherry serves as an Advisor for the Alliance for Learning Innovation. As Founder & CEO of Cherry Strategies, she supports nonprofits and philanthropic organizations with tailored consulting services to drive impact.

Bridget previously served as a Program Officer on the Education team at the Walton Family Foundation. She also served as Special Assistant for Policy at the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Earlier in her career, Bridget held roles at City Year, Inc. and the U.S. Department of Education, where she was a Presidential Management Fellow and a Program Officer for the Race to the Top program. She is also an alumna of Education Pioneers.

Bridget began her career as a middle school teacher in Cofradía, Honduras. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Yale University and a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. She lives in the DC area with her husband and two daughters.
