Chike Aguh is a member of ALI's Board. He is a Senior Advisor at Harvard’s Project On Workforce, Northeastern’s Burnes Center for Social Change, and the McChrystal Group. A Biden presidential appointee, Chike was the first Black Chief Innovation Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor, where he led efforts on data strategy, emerging technologies, and workforce modernization, including a $2B upgrade of the unemployment insurance system.

Chike is also a former Fulbright Scholar, education policy official, and CEO of a national nonprofit that connected 500,000 low-income Americans to affordable internet. Chike served as Director of Strategy and Future of Work Lead at the McChrystal Group and founded the Community College Growth Engine Fund. Chike holds degrees from Tufts, Harvard, and Wharton. He is Vice-Chair of the Maryland Higher Education Commission and founder of the Aguh Workforce Scholarship.
