Manny Lamarre is an experienced senior public sector executive with over 15 years of experience designing and scaling innovative workforce development initiatives across the nonprofit, local, state, and federal sectors at the intersection of policy, research, and program management. As Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA), he was instrumental in shaping policies that address emerging workforce challenges and the future of work. While serving as the Founding Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Innovation in Nevada and the Governor’s designee on the state workforce board, he led successful initiatives that expanded career pathways, credentials of value, and apprenticeships.

Manny began his career as an elementary teacher and has worked at diverse organizations, including a community foundation and research institution. Manny’s commitment to the future of work and concrete workforce strategies continues to drive his work, earning him numerous accolades, including the Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Award. Manny holds a B.A. in Political Science with honors from Wittenberg University and a Master’s in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he was the recipient of the Class Marshal Award for scholarship, leadership, and service.
