ALI recommends centering the network around state-identified needs, requiring centers to demonstrate concrete knowledge mobilization strategies, and leveraging modern technology and AI to expand the reach of technical assistance to educators and students.

The Alliance for Learning Innovation (ALI) submitted recommendations to the Department of Education on redesigning the Comprehensive Centers program, which supports states and districts in implementing evidence-based education practices. ALI’s key recommendations include organizing Regional Centers around shared state needs, embedding knowledge mobilization as a core required function, and holding centers accountable to measurable, state-identified outcomes.
